This place is ideally situated near a river, next to a convenient fast food spot, features a sunny beer garden, and is close to the ferries to Orkney from Gills Bay or Scrabster.

I greatly enjoyed it and would return there. Everything was fantastic, the parking was on street, the room was beautifully presented. the hotel was in a perfect and excellent position just next door to Wick, and the ferry. There was great food, the staff was lively and excellent.

Everything here was fantastic and my room was well-appointed. The staff were hospitable and amiable, ready to any request. The hotel was in an absolutely perfect location next to a garden and a river. It took me 5 mins to get to the bus station.

Rooms (lodge behind the main building) quite new and clean, parking possibility in front, pleasant.
Breakfast: table (freshly set especially for us) sticky and full of crumbs, buffet not very appealing, everything suited the less motivated staff. Pity it would take so little more.

The hotel's location is particularly good, with a short walk to Thurso, the Scrabster ferry to Orkney, and the evening restaurant. the units are reasonably large with a good view, and the bathroom is huge. - the staff were fairly friendly.

I really liked my super clean and bright room with a nice little bathroom next to it. the design was elegant and timeless. the staff was friendly, but a couple of them were a bit lacking. Overall, a pleasant stay! 😊

The location of the hotel in Halkirk near Thurso, Wick, John O'Groats, and the Scrabster ferry to Orkney was marvellous and absolutely perfect. We were greeted by very nice and polite staff who provided great service throughout our stay.
